Biography > Ericka Low (Violin)

Ericka Low began her early training in Halifax, Nova Scotia and subsequently studied at the University of Ottawa, where she obtained her Master of Music in Performance. She has performed on stages in France, Germany, USA and Canada.

Ericka has been a featured soloist with the Ottawa Symphony, Ottawa University Orchestra, Dalhousie University Orchestra, and the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra. The recipient of many scholarships and awards she joined the Saint John String Quartet in 2004 to continue her active performance career.

Her current activities include artist in residence at the University of New Brunswick Saint John, playing second violin with the Saint John String Quartet and Symphony New Brunswick. Ericka teaches privately, performs in school concerts, and coaches’ youth orchestras.
